Mission

Collaborate with parents and teachers to support students in the most effective manner. We all learn differently, and sometimes, we need help to point us in the right direction!

About Me

I was very fortunate to have many loving, helpful, and nurturing teachers when I first arrived in the United States. Then when I got a bit older, my Mom assigned me to help my brother who had cerebral palsy to do homework with him until I went off to college. While in middle school, my French teacher paired me with a classmate to teach him how to conjugate verbs. In high school, my history teacher asked me to support another student who just arrived in the US. Whenever a classmate was absent, my teacher would usually ask me to share my class notes with that individual. Finally, while I was attending a four-year university fully based on scholarships, I tutored some of my peers in English as a Second Language, Economics, and Statistics to earn extra money to pay for my living expenses.

Passion for Helping —> Teaching

Supporting Our Community

It was a passion for helping others that led me to go into teaching. Now, my passion for teaching led me to serve the most vulnerable children in our community. In addition to this ministry, I have led a caregiver support group with plans to form a support group for siblings who have a sibling who struggles with a mental or physical disability.

I am here to assist students from kindergarten through 12th grade! I am trained in TBRI and Orton-Gillingham, and board certified in ABA. I look forward to supporting you and your family!

“No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”

– President Theodore Roosevelt
